The Language in the Workplace Project (LWP) has been studying workplace communication since 1996, collecting and analysing authentic workplace interaction in Aotearoa New 麻豆传媒高清.
The LWP originally began at Te Herenga Waka鈥擵ictoria University of Wellington, and after 30 years now extends across to include a base at Te Whare W膩nanga o Waitaha鈥斅槎勾礁咔. We also connect with other academics and workplaces around the world.
Our research has covered many different aspects of workplace talk over the years 鈥 from the transactional such as directives and meeting management 鈥 to the relational such as social talk, humour and narrative. We have also explored issues such as gender, culture, leadership and belonging.
